Tough Titties Story

Giving back to the community has always been a fundamental part of who I am, whether through charitable giving, fundraising, or volunteering my time.

The loss of my grandmother to Cancer in 2003 profoundly affected me; I had lived with her since I was seven, and we shared a deep bond. In 2014, I faced another heartbreak with the loss of a cousin to Cancer. My life has been touched by this disease in countless ways, with some family members and friends triumphing over it, while others continue to battle.

After years of feeling unfulfilled in a job that no longer aligned with my values, I took time for self-reflection in 2017-2018. I felt a strong urge to reconnect with my passion for meaningful work and community support. I began by creating designs—t-shirts, art prints, and cards—to raise funds for breast cancer research in honour of my grandmother and cousin.

What started as a small project quickly grew into something much larger. I discovered that my designs resonate deeply across gender, race, and beliefs, connecting people on an emotional level.

It’s incredibly rewarding to have a brand that unites so many individuals while giving back to the community. My creations aim to bring joy and foster a sense of acceptance: “Hey! Look! These are my boobs! These are my scars!” They celebrate the unique beauty of all bodies, making people feel seen and normalizing the diverse stories we all carry.
